Start the conversation you keep avoiding
You have rehearsed the whole argument. The other person has not heard the first sentence yet.
Start smaller: “There’s something I’d like us to work through. Is now a good time?” Name one specific moment, explain how it landed for you, and make room for their account. The first job is to understand what happened.
The longer explanation and its sources are in How to Start a Difficult Conversation. Keep the one-page conversation guide nearby for the next hard talk.
What conversation would you want help starting? That is the kind of question you can reply with.
- One protocol per issue. Not a link roundup. The whole thing, usable before the email is closed.
- The mechanism, plainly. Why it works, at the level the evidence actually supports.
- The printable. Every protocol has a one-page PDF. It comes with the email.
- No motivation-speak. The Human Frequency doesn't publish pep talks. See the editorial policy.
